The Band


   
  Larry Evearitt
Larry is a retired elementary school principal who has been playing bluegrass banjo for almost 30 years. Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, he and his family moved to Tempe, Arizona in 1977. Larry and his wife Bonnie are the proud parents of two children and the proud grandparents of five grandchildren. After serving in public education for 33 years, Larry (with support from Bonnie) is happy to have more time to serve the Lord with his music.
   
 
  Bob Rose
 
Bob was born and raised in the Appalachia Mtns. of Virginia. He worked as a mechanic in a Chevrolet garage at age 14. He always loved music and taught himself to play guitar. Bob grew up around gospel music and has sang gospel all his life. Bob went into the military at 17 and served in Germany during the Korean war. He and his wife Shirley have been married for 33 years and have four children and five grandchildren. Shirley travels with the group and acts as our booking agent and organizer.
   
 
  Sharon Severance
 
Sharon is a retired school teacher who has always had a love of music. She recently started playing the upright bass because of a new found love for bluegrass music. Her husband, Lynn, is the band's promoter. They have two children and two grandchildren.
   
 
  Dennis Rowland
 
Dennis has been playing music for 52 years. In addition to playing the dobro and mandolin in the band, Dennis is an accomplished musician on a number of other instruments. Dennis is married to Carol. They have four children and six grandchildren.
   
 
  Paul Wilson
 
Paul Wilson is a retired computer engineer and has been playing bluegrass music the last eighteen years.  He plays the mandolin, guitar, banjo and dobro and shares in the vocals.  Paul was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and has resided in Glendale, Arizona the past 34 years.  He and his wife, Barbara, have two children and five grandchildren.  Since his retirement, he has more time to devote to his love of music.
